This is my show  on YouTube, Thrift to Vintage, where I take old thrift store clothes and I refashion them into beautiful vintage style outfits!

I found this kaftan at the thrift store, and it was so light and airy and 100% cotton ( which you know I like!) And it just happened to be the perfect colours in a red and white stripe!

What are the things I changed...

  • Shortened the sleeves
  • Created a collar to fit the neckline
  • Added my favourite side ties
  • check
Let down a section at the hem to get more length
  • check
    Changed the buttons, of course!

I hope you enjoyed the refashion and it gave you some ideas for your own!

If you ever try it, let me know!

Until next time...
Bye
