As it warms up I am forced o think about my summer wardrobe. And I am feeling g a little lackluster about it to be honest. I feel that my style has evolved since last summer and I am wanting to replace lots of items in it!
I am being inspired by the beach and resort wear looks of the 1920’s and 30’s. I’m thinking beach pajamas, long flowing skirts and floppy hats! I am thinking of giving myself a challenge to make and create some new pieces in the next few weeks before the summer really begins!
I am gathering inspiration right now for all the fabulous outfits I imagine to be in my future wardrobe, and I think that I might even share them in the next post! So stay tuned if you want to see what I am lusting after this season and what I may create!
Everything looks lovely!
BTW, you made me a 30s repro skirt and I have to apologize for not getting back to you about how wonderful it is — the honest truth is that my husband made off with the package with the aim of putting it under the Christmas tree . . . so there’s just a brief delay . . .
Hello Catherine! How funny!! Well nothing like a present you know you will like under the tree! I hope you love it ands enjoy wearing it!

I love seeing how you put things together, combining new items with vintage and thrifted !
Hi Tina,
Awww, thank you so much! I am really happy to hear it! Yes, I love to wear and mix of items, vintage thrifted repro, and show that you can wear them all together!

Oh my goodness, every single one of these outfits is impeccable! You really do live and breathe vintage everyday, with considerable finesse. Please keep the inspiration coming – I’m sure that even if you’re not looking forward so much to your summer wardrobe, your readers will love it!
Hi Porcelina! Well thanks! I get so much inspiration from the people I follow and the things I surround myself with. So if someone finds inspiration from my own outfits, that’s just wonderful!
